AIT MGSE Engineer - Lunar Lander

Here at The Exploration Company, we are building spacecrafts for humanity. As part of this initiative, we are developing a lunar lander capable of precision landing and reusable operations. To support this effort, we are establishing a dedicated remote test site in the United Arab Emirates to perform hot-fire propulsion testing and hopper flight demonstrations. We want you as a talented AIT MGSE Engineer to help us in our mission by designing and delivering the MGSEs needed for the preparation and testing of our Lunar Lander. Key Responsibilities In your capacity as AIT MGSE Engineer, your role will be continuously evolving, but day to day duties will include: Work closely with Engineering and AIT colleagues to understand and refine the requirements/timelines for the different MGSEs that we will need for various assembly or testing activities. Conceptualise, design (CAD including manufacturing drawings), procure and commission the MGSEs. Confirm with mechanical analysis/hand calculations/proof tests that the design is compatible with the external loads. Discuss with suppliers the MGSE designs for ease of manufacturing and with the most adequate processes. Follow up the manufacturing/procurement with the suppliers (with the support of our supply chain team) and answer any technical questions/concerns ensuring timely delivery of all items.
