The Data Centers team signs long-term leases for data center capacity developed by third-party operators, sources the GPUs that fill those halls, and runs the workloads that train and serve Mistral's models. Today the team is around 40 people, mainly based in Paris with some remote members, and operates roughly 200 MW of existing capacity across France. Key partners include Éclairion in France and EcoDC in Sweden, which is currently delivering Mistral's first Swedish data center. The team sits at the center of an ambitious roadmap: Mistral has publicly committed to securing one gigawatt of data center capacity globally by 2030.
