Sereact is scaling internationally (Germany, US, Switzerland), and our Director Accounting is looking for a smart early hire to build our finance function together: processes, systems, and standards, from day one. You'll work directly with leadership and help take the group through its first statutory audit. Based on-site at our Stuttgart headquarters.

OverviewWorking side by side with our Director Accounting, you'll help bring bookkeeping in-house, help shape our finance systems setup (including how we use Odoo alongside DATEV), and get us ready for our first statutory audit — working closely with the founders and our external tax and audit partners. We value people who work independently, take initiative, and build rather than wait for the perfect setup.
Your ResponsibilitiesDay-to-day accounting: Own the books (general and sub-ledgers) and gradually bring bookkeeping in-house from our external provider.
Payments & working capital: Run accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the payment process.
Closing & audit: Prepare monthly and quarterly closes under HGB and support the annual fina
