The MSK group is responsible for real-time data analysis and fast-feedback control for beam stabilisation systems, radiofrequency cavity control, specialised diagnostics, and precise synchronisation of particle accelerators at DESY. We are an international team of technicians, engineers, and scientists who develop, install, and operate complex instruments and embedded systems for EuXFEL, FLASH, and PETRA. With the PETRA IV project, DESY is launching one of the most ambitious and innovative large-scale research projects worldwide. PETRA IV, the most brilliant synchrotron radiation source of the next generation, will be the ultimate 4D X-ray microscope, setting new standards in precision and performance.
