Our client, Assured Personnel Limited, based in Swords, Co. Dublin, is currently seeking Body Shop Panel Beaters for immediate start at their facility in Swords, Co. Dublin.Key Responsibilities & Duties- To assess and repair damage on a variety of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs), buses, and plant machinery.- To realign chassis, remove and replace damaged panels, and carry out fabrication and structural repairs.- To operate equipment such as heavy-duty jigs, hydraulic presses, and welding tools.- To conduct cutting, grinding, and MIG/MAG/TIG welding on steel and aluminium components.- To carry out pre- and post-repair inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.- To collaborate with paint technicians and workshop staff to complete jobs efficiently.- To maintain accurate job cards and work reports.- To adhere to health and safety standards specific to heavy vehicle repair environments.Requirements: Skills & Experience- Minimum of 3 years previous experience in a Panel Beater role- Experience with commercial trucks and plant vehicles is an advantage- Candidate must be competent to carry out high-quality structural and cosmetic repairs on heavy-duty vehicles and machinery- Panel Beater certification is a plus but is not mandatory- Strong welding and metal fabrication skills.-Proven ability to work on large-scale body structures and heavy vehicle chassis.- Comfortable using diagnostic and measuring tools for large vehicles.- Knowledge of body repair processes for articulated lorries, tippers, buses, and diggers.- Experience with fibreglass and composite materials is a plus.- Certification in welding or heavy vehicle structural repair is a bonusAnnual Remuneration: €40,000.00; Pay rate €19.72 per hourWork Location: Assured Personnel Limited, Airside Motor Park, Airside Retail Park, Swords, Co.
