Site Manager (Part Time)

Meals on Wheels of Takoma Park/Silver Spring is seeking a Site Manager to oversee daily operations across our Takoma Park and Wheaton locations. This role will manage the day to day coordination of our kitchen, meal delivery, volunteer, transportation, and facility operations. This position is ideal for someone who is hands on, organized, comfortable supervising staff, and able to keep a busy operation moving while solving problems as they come up. What You’ll Do Oversee daily operations across our Takoma Park and Wheaton locations Coordinate meal production, packing, and daily delivery operations Manage staffing and volunteer coverage for daily operations Monitor inventory Ensure food safety, sanitation, and operational standards are followed Monitor site expenses and operational needs Identify and address issues that could impact daily service What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree or at least 5 years of relevant experience Experience managing day to day operations in a fast paced environment Experience supervising staff and/or volunteers Comfortable working in a hands on environment Experience with food service, nonprofit operations, logistics, facilities, or community based programs preferred Valid driver's license and safe driving record Experience with Microsoft 365 required We know that sometimes qualified candidates do not apply for roles based on not meeting all of the criteria. Position Details Title: Site Manager Location: Onsite across Takoma Park and Wheaton, Maryland Schedule: Part Time Monday through Friday, Typically 9 AM to 2 PM. Schedule may vary based on operational needs.
