Child Care Assistant (CCA)

**We are recruiting full-time Child Care Assistants!** The Prep Montessori Daycare, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, is looking for **Full-Time Child Care Assistants (CCA)** to be Teaching Assistants in our Infant and Early Preschool Programs. You will be a part of a dynamic group of educators comprising of Early Childhood Educators (II & III), Experienced Montessori Teachers, and Trained Child Care Assistants. **Your job description is to:** * Provide a warm, caring and safe environment for all the children in your care * Follow all the policies and procedures of The Prep * Communicate with parents & colleagues in person, over the phone, and via an app * Complete daily cleaning duties as assigned **You will take direction from and report to:** * Your classroom's Teacher, The Prep's Supervisors, Office Manager, and Director. **You must possess the following (BEFORE APPLYING):** * A CCA designation in Manitoba * Proof of completion of an ELCC approved 40-hour course in Child Care * A Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate * A Clean Criminal Record Check * A Clean Child Abuse Registry Check **We offer our staff:** * A professional working environment * Paid 30 minute uninterrupted lunch break * 1 paid sick/personal day a month * Extended Group Health Insurance (optional) * Free Parking The starting wage for this position is: **$18** an hour. **Child Care assistants with experience working in a Montessori Childcare Centre will be given preference.** **We are accepting out of province applicants and will write employment letters for Permanent Resident (PR) applications as required**.
