Pharmacy Assistant

About Us Birchcliff Pharmacy Inc. is a community pharmacy in Scarborough and part of the Pharmabest group. We're a team-focused, patient-first pharmacy with a modern workflow. We're looking for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. What You'll Do • Assist with preparing and processing prescriptions under the supervision of the pharmacist and pharmacy technician • Enter prescriptions and manage refills in Fillware • Assist with third-party and Ontario Drug Benefit billing and resolve claim issues • Receive, stock, and manage inventory and returns • Prepare blister packs and compliance packaging • Answer phones, assist patients at the counter, and coordinate with doctors' offices • Provide friendly, professional service to patients and healthcare partners What You Bring • Previous community pharmacy experience (required) • Experience with Fillware pharmacy software (required) • Working knowledge of third-party/ODB billing • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Additional languages are an asset What We Offer • Competitive pay • Full-time, permanent position • Supportive team and room to grow within a multi-location group Schedule: Weekdays and weekends, rotating shifts Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Pay: Competitive, based on experience Work Location: In person 1120 Kingston Road, Unit 2, Scarborough, ON M1N 1N8 Birchcliff Pharmacy Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
