Server Assistant – Chinese Cuisine **Location:** Richmond, BC **Job Type:** Full-time / Part-time **Pay:** $18.75–$22.00 per hour + Tips Job Summary GreenTee Richmond Golf Centre is a premium indoor golf and lifestyle destination in Richmond, BC, offering exclusive membership services, VIP private suites, and upscale dining experiences. Our facility is home to Crystal Jade Palace, a premium Chinese dining concept under the internationally recognized Crystal Jade Group. We are currently seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused **Server Assistants** to join our opening Food & Beverage team. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing excellent guest service. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred, but we also welcome motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow in a professional dining environment. Duties & Responsibilities * Assist servers in providing attentive and efficient food and beverage service. * Prepare dining tables and service stations before and during service. * Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly and efficiently. * Refill water, tea, and other beverages as needed. * Assist with food delivery and ensure timely service. * Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the dining area. * Replenish tableware, glassware, and other service supplies. * Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally. * Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and other team members. * Support daily opening and closing duties. * Follow restaurant service standards, hygiene, and safety procedures. Experience & Qualifications * Previous experience in restaurants, hotels, or hospitality is preferred. * **Experience in Western-style restaurants, upscale dining, or fine dining is an asset, but not required.** * Strong customer service skills and a positive, professional attitude. * **English proficiency is required.** Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with guests in English. * **Chinese language skills are an asset, but not required.** * Excellent teamwork and communication skills. * Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. * Reliable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented. * Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform the physical duties of the position. * Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays. * Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
