Class 1 and Class 3 Drivers for SNOW REMOVAL

**Now Hiring: Class 1 & Class 3 Plow Truck Drivers — Winter 2026/27** **$26–$28/hr** **Keep Winnipeg moving this winter!** L. Chabot Enterprises Ltd. has been building Manitoba since 1969. We’re a third-generation, family-run heavy construction company specializing in roadway construction, earthworks, and sand and gravel supply and delivery. Our committed winter snow clearing contracts keep our crews working when others shut down. We’re looking for experienced Class 1 and Class 3 drivers to run plow trucks on snow and ice control this season. **What You Bring** * Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s licence * Minimum 1 year of driving experience; snow plow experience preferred * Strong knowledge of City of Winnipeg routes and weight allowances * Confidence completing thorough vehicle pre-trip inspections * Reliable transportation to and from work * Ability to communicate clearly in English with dispatch, supervisors and crew * Ability to work 12-hour shifts, on call, days and nights, 7 days a week * A cell phone with a data plan for GPS clock-in and clock-out * A sharp, alert and professional approach on the job * Mechanical aptitude is an asset **What You’ll Do** * Operate Class 1 and/or Class 3 plow trucks for snow and ice control * Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance * Report mechanical issues promptly to keep trucks storm-ready * Fill out accurate timesheets every shift * Work safely and follow all route, load and traffic regulations **Why CHABOT** * Competitive wages * Committed winter work on established snow contracts * **Year-round opportunity:** qualified drivers can move into full-time, Monday–Friday day-shift work in construction season, hauling gravel in our Class 1/3 end dumps, belly dumps and side dumps across the Winnipeg region * A path to full-time, permanent employment with full benefits: medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, critical illness and life insurance, plus RRSP and DPSP programs * An established, respected employer with more than 55 years in Manitoba **Positions:** Full-time and on-call (spare) **Schedule:** Winter season, on call.
