We are looking to build our team with inspired, ambitious, and strategic people who are excited by the opportunity in every challenge and driven by meaningful, measurable results. **If you are looking to join an environmentally focused and socially conscious community organization, then we are looking for you!** Food and Beverage Attendant \*\*Daytime Availability needed ----------------------------------------------------------- **Department:** Food & Beverage **Contract Type:** Contract, Seasonal **Work Location:** Milton, ON, L9E 0C6 **CH Site:** Kelso Conservation Area \*Must be willing/able to work at any Conservation Halton site **Vacancy Status:** Current Opening **Posting Start Date:** November 6, 2026 **Posting End Date:** November 20, 2026 ### **Your Opportunity** The primary responsibilities of this position include: * Prepare and serve hot food, snacks, and drinks, following proper food handling and safety procedures * Ensure safe operation of all equipment – Grill, Deep Fryers, BBQ, Beverage machines * Maintain a clean and organized food service area, including stock room, cooking area, dry storage and dishwashing area * Notify supervisor or Lead when additional inventory is required. Re stocking display areas as needed. * Greet customers and respond to inquiries in a friendly and efficient manner * Process payments following established cash handling procedures * Assist with receiving and stocking food & drink deliveries * Work in accordance with the Conservation Halton’s Safety Policies & Procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and all other related manuals. * Other duties as assigned ### **Your Qualifications** * Available to a work 3-5 shifts per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00am-4:30pm, including weekends and holidays. Schedule may vary depending on visitation levels * Previous experience in the food industry and customer service is preferred * Interest in hospitality, restaurant, resort management is an asset * Strong communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with both customers and various levels of Conservation Halton Staff * Previous point of sale, Clover device, and cash handling experience are an asset * Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, on varied terrain * Able to lift up to 30 pounds, stand, and walk for long periods of time * **Successful candidates must provide own anti-slip safety footwear prior to first day of employment** *\*Partial reimbursement provided in accordance with the Safety Workwear policy.* * Successful candidates are required to provide a Criminal Record Ch
