This opportunity is event-based contact work suitable for individuals seeking supplemental income; we generally work with part-time salon employees or those with their own home studios who want flexible opportunities with competitive rates. About Miyo Wellness Miyo Wellness is an Indigenous-owned and led mobile wellness company that brings care and relaxation to Indigenous communities and corporate staff appreciation events. Our team delivers private, one-on-one sessions in boardrooms, offices, and community centres. What we currently offer: * Reiki * Laying-on-of-Hands healing * Massage Therapy * Brow Wax & Tint * Lash Lifts * Manicures * Pedicures * Haircuts * Makeup Artistry * Oracle & Angel Card Readings * Reflexology What You Bring * Relevant education, certification, and licensing for your service * A high standard of care, with a focus on privacy, professionalism, and client comfort * Ability to deliver a calming, high-quality experience aligned with our focus on rest and regulation * Readiness for mobile work, including: * Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle * Necessary equipment (e.g., massage table, products, tools) Nature of the Work * Contract-based, occasional, event-driven work * Typical event hours are 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM Clientele * Primarily corporate wellness events and community bookings Compensation * Tax-inclusive day rate: $800 * Mileage is compensated for travel outside your local area (based on federal rates for your region) Ideal for Practitioners Who: * Enjoy mobile, event-based work * Have their own vehicles and are comfortable driving to rural First Nations communities * Are comfortable working in corporate or community settings, delivering services in open spaces * Value calm, client-centred care and professional presentation * Are looking to diversify their income streams. Practitioners can expect to be called 1-4 times per month for events.
