Reporting to the VP, FP&A and Central Actuarial, this role will support actuarial projects, strategic initiatives, actuarial system maintenance and transformation. This role serves as the bridge between Corporate Actuarial, Finance, Technology, Operations, and external vendors to deliver enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. The role combines project leadership, actuarial expertise, actuarial systems oversight, and people leadership. **As the AVP, Actuarial Projects and Transformation, your key responsibilities will include…** **Actuarial Strategic Projects and Production Support** * Support strategic and emerging actuarial projects in response to business priorities, regulatory developments, transactions, and other complex issues requiring actuarial leadership and analysis. * Coordinate cross-functional workstreams, bringing together appropriate expertise from Corporate Actuarial, Finance, Investments, Risk, Pricing, Technology, and other teams. * Translate complex actuarial analysis into clear recommendations and executive-level insights, including identification of key risks, trade-offs, and areas of uncertainty. * Act as a flexible senior actuarial resource for the Chief Actuary and actuarial leadership team on high-priority or time-sensitive issues requiring focused analysis and support broader Corporate Actuarial deliverables as needed. * Establish appropriate documentation, controls, and handover into Business-as-Usual processes where an ad hoc initiative becomes an ongoing responsibility. **Actuarial Systems Transformation and Ownership** * Actuarial lead for initiatives such as modernizing general ledger and policy administration system. * Lead actuarial system upgrades (e.g. Moody’s RiskIntegrity and AXIS). * Partner with Actuarial, Finance, Technology, and Operations teams to implement automation and process improvements. * Ensure appropriate system maintenance, support, and operational stability. * Provide ongoing oversig
