Description du poste
The work:
Picture a Tuesday. You start the morning on interior signage for an independent school's new building. After lunch, you're in a concept session with our copywriter for a police recruitment campaign. Before you head home, you've planned next week's posts for a local brewery and checked how last month's posts performed.
If that sounds like a great day, we'd love to meet you.
Indalma Creative is hiring a full-time Graphic Designer to join our team, working between our Ladner studio and home. This role is for someone who enjoys shaping ideas as much as bringing them to life.
About Indalma:
We're a branding and design studio in Ladner, BC, and for more than 22 years we've helped organizations connect with the people they serve.
Every client we work with exists to serve a community. A police chief joined their department to serve theirs. A brewery owner wants to be part of their neighbourhood. The words change depending on who we're talking to, but the goal stays the same: help them connect with their people everywhere they show up, whether that's someone walking through the front door, ordering at the counter, or spotting the building from the parking lot.
Since 2011, we've built a specialty in branding and recruitment for Canadian police agencies. We also work with hospital foundations, independent schools, non-profits, home builders and trades, real estate and property management teams, breweries, local food brands and B2B companies.
Our clients see us as a peer, a thought partner and the team that sees it through. We draw out what they already know, then we turn it into work that connects. On a team our size, that means everyone, including you, plays a real part in how the work turns out.
How you'll work:
You'll have several projects moving at once, often for very different clients and at different stages. One might need focused design time, another might need a client presentation, and a third might be waiting on content before you can move forward.
Our project manager sets the priorities and timelines. Within those, you'll decide how and when to do the work, plan your days, manage your time against each project's budget, and keep things moving. You won't be waiting for someone to tell you what to do every step of the way.
The brief won't always answer every question. When it doesn't, you'll research, make a thoughtful decision and keep moving. If you spot something that could affect the timeline, budget or scope, you'll flag it early rather than letting it become a problem later.
We don't expect you to have all the answers. We do expect you to be curious, resourceful and comfortable taking ownership of your work.
What you'll do:
* **Brand design:** identities, brand systems, and the pieces that bring a brand to life.
* **Multipage documents:** annual reports, recommendation documents, guides, and donor and recruitment materials.
* **Websites:** design and build sites on Squarespace.
* **Social media, start to finish:** me
