Marine Technician

**Job Summary** Marine Technician – Mobile Service | Hux Marine (Vancouver) Hux Marine is a young, owner-operated marine service company working dockside across Vancouver's Lower Mainland marinas. We do mechanical, electrical and detailing work, all in one place, for clients who expect things done properly: private owners, large yachts, absentee owners and commercial operators. We're small, we're growing, and we're looking for an experienced technician who wants a real say in how things are built from here. What you'll be doing - Diagnose, service and repair outboard and inboard engines - Work fully mobile, bringing the service to the boat across marinas around Vancouver - Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults methodically, from symptom to root cause - Document your work clearly so every client gets a clean, professional record - Be the face of Hux on the dock: courteous, tidy, and straight with clients What we offer - $32–$50/hr, depending on experience - Flexible schedule - Variety: no two days, boats or marinas the same - Early-stage opportunity: grow with the company and help shape how we work What we're looking for - 3+ years as a marine technician, in a yard or mobile service - Solid outboard experience; Mercury Verado experience is a strong asset - Confident diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical problems - Self-directed and organized, comfortable working independently between marinas - Clear communicator who takes ownership of the job and does it right the first time - Valid driver's licence; Pleasure Craft Operator Card (or willing to get one) - Manufacturer or ABYC training is a bonus, not a requirement How to apply Apply through Indeed, or email us at info@huxmarine.com with your resume and a few lines about the boats and engines you've worked on.
