About Rhino Auto Glass Rhino Auto Glass is a locally owned auto glass shop serving Kitchener-Waterloo and Cambridge. We are seeking an Auto Glass Tech (Trainee) to join our small, professional team. This is a full-time, daytime position offering structured on-the-job training, steady local work, and direct mentorship from the owner. What We Offer • $18 per hour to start, with a raise following successful completion of training • Weekly pay • Monday to Friday daytime schedule, averaging 37.5-40 hours per week, with no evenings or weekends, supporting a healthy work-life balance • Structured training and ongoing professional development • A supportive, small-team environment with direct mentorship from the owner What You Will Do • Learn windshield, side glass, and back glass replacement • Prepare vehicles, handle glass and tools safely, and maintain an organized, professional shop • Assist experienced installers, progressing to completing installations independently • Support mobile jobs across Kitchener-Waterloo and Cambridge • Deliver quality workmanship and a positive customer experience on every job What We Are Looking For • Some auto, mechanical, or hands-on experience is preferred • A valid G licence and reliable transportation to our Kitchener shop are assets • Ability to lift glass and work on your feet • A professional attitude, strong work ethic, punctuality, and a commitment to teamwork Location Rhino Auto Glass, 342 Victoria St N, Unit 4, Kitchener, ON.
