Murasaki Japanese Restaurant is looking for an experienced cook to join our kitchen team.
We are a well-established neighbourhood Japanese restaurant in Port Moody, serving our community since 2012.
We are looking for someone who enjoys cooking, works well with others, and brings a positive, responsible attitude to the kitchen. We value reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to learn and grow with us over the long term.
What We're Looking For
* Previous kitchen experience in a Japanese restaurant
* Good communication and teamwork skills

* Ability to stay organized, multitask, and work calmly during busy service hours
* Flexibility to support different kitchen stations and responsibilities
* Interest in Japanese cuisine and learning more about kitchen operations
* A reliable commute to our Port Moody location
* Interest in steady, long-term employment
What You'll Do
* Prepare and cook Japanese dishes according to our recipes and quality standards
* Work closely with our cooks and sushi chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations
* Assist with food preparation, inventory, and general kitchen duties
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen
* Support the team during busy service periods
