**Job Overview** We are seeking dedicated and efficient Dishwashers to join our BOH team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Your efforts will support our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. **Duties** * Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. * Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area by sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces. * Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring that all ingredients are ready for use by the cooking staff. * Properly handle and store clean dishes and utensils to prevent contamination. * Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock is low. * Follow all safety and sanitation policies to ensure a safe working environment. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. **Skills** * Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. * Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices is a plus. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. * Willingness to help out in various kitchen tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude. * Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when necessary. * Weekend availability is a must. **We Offer** * Flexible schedule. * Excellent paid training program. * Uniforms provided. * Opportunities for advancement. * Team spirit (warm family environment). **Join Our Grand Opening Team!** This is a great opportunity to be part of something new and exciting in Evanston.
