Automotive Service Technician / Apprentice / Tire Installer / Wheel Alignment

**Overview** We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our service team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with automotive repairs, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to work on a variety of vehicle makes and models, utilizing a wide range of tools and techniques to ensure customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. Experience with dealership repairs, welding, and schematics is highly valued. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality. **Duties** * Perform comprehensive automotive repairs including engine diagnostics, brake service, suspension work, and electrical troubleshooting * Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to repair or replace vehicle parts * Interpret schematics and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues * Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks * Assemble and disassemble vehicle components with precision * Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications * Maintain detailed records of services performed for each vehicle * Assist in the training of junior technicians when necessary * Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly **Experience** * Proven mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive systems and repair techniques * Dealership experience is preferred but not required * Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment * Knowledge of schematics, assembly procedures, and maintenance protocols * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or part replacements * Strong mechanical knowledge coupled with excellent problem-solving skills * Prior experience working in fast-paced automotive environments is advantageous * Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients about vehicle issues and repairs Submit your resume to discounttiresoshawa@gmail.com Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour Work Location: In person
