There’s a particular feeling we want people to leave Strong Body with.
They were listened to. Their concerns were taken seriously. They understand the plan and feel more confident about what comes next.
We work hard to make that happen, from the first conversation at reception to the last appointment.
We’re looking for a physiotherapist who cares about those things too. Someone who wants to keep getting better at their craft and help us build a clinic people are proud to recommend.
You might be an experienced clinician looking for a team that shares your standards. You might be a newer graduate looking for support and room to grow. We’re open to both.
***What matters is how you care, how you learn, and how you show up for the people around you.***
**What we believe**
*Give great care. Always.*
For us, that means listening closely, making thoughtful clinical decisions, explaining things clearly, and reviewing whether the plan is helping. It also means being honest when you need another opinion or a different approach.
*Do the small things with great care.*
Remember what a patient is working toward. Notice when someone needs reassurance. Follow through on what you said you would do. Those details shape how people experience their care.
*Be professional, but make it cool.*
Know your work. Be prepared. Treat people with respect. Bring your personality, have a laugh, and help people feel comfortable being themselves too.
*Look after each other.*
Sometimes that means cleaning a teammate’s treatment bed when they’re running behind. Sometimes it means checking whether their patient needs a hand. Everyone contributes, and feedback goes both ways, including to the owner.
**What you can expect from us**
We expect you to care about your development. We’ll put time and support behind it.
* ***Time for thoughtful care.*** Our standard appointments are 60-minute assessments and 30-minute follow-ups. When a patient or your stage of development calls for more time, we discuss it and adjust the schedule.
* ***Mentorship suited to your experience.***For newer graduates, our starting structure is a weekly check-in and a longer mentorship session every other week. For experienced clinicians, we’ll agree on support that works for you.
* ***An involved clinical owner.*** You’ll work alongside Basit Adeyinka, an FCAMPT physiotherapist with advanced training in vestibular and concussion rehabilitation. There’s someone to discuss a challenging case with, ask questions, and learn alongside.
* ***Room to develop your own practice.***Bring your interests, clinical reasoning, and ideas. We want you to grow into a confident practitioner and contribute your knowledge to the team.
