Respite Care Worker

**We’re Hiring! Registered Health Care Aide (HCA) / Home Support Worker – Devon, Alberta** Gladlife Support Services is seeking a **compassionate, reliable female Registered Health Care Aide (HCA) or experienced Home Support Worker/Caregiver** to provide one-on-one respite and home support for a client in Devon, Alberta. **Due to the nature of the one-on-one personal home support and the client’s preference and comfort, a female caregiver is preferred for this position.** **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide companionship and one-on-one support * Prepare simple meals * Assist with grocery shopping and community outings * Provide medication reminders * Assist with light household activities * Support the client with maintaining daily routines * Accompany the client on walks and assist with pet-related activities, including dog walking * Promote independence, safety, comfort, and overall well-being **What We’re Looking For:** * Registered Health Care Aide (HCA) or experienced Home Support Worker/Caregiver * Previous experience in home care, respite care, senior care, or a related field * Experience supporting individuals with dementia or Alzheimer’s is strongly preferred * Current First Aid and CPR certification * Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle * Compassionate, patient, dependable, and trustworthy * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently in a client’s home * Reliable transportation to Devon * Flexible availability **Location:** Devon, Alberta **Position:** Part-Time / Casual **Pay:** Competitive, based on qualifications and experience Applicants residing in **Devon and surrounding communities** are especially encouraged to apply. **Interested?** Send your resume to **contact@gladlifeservices.ca** or message **Gladlife Support Services** directly for more information.
