Truck & Trailer Mechanic Assistant **Company:** Greenway Truck Repair **Location:** Brampton, ON **Job Type:** Full-Time, Permanent Job Description Greenway Truck Repair is looking for a hardworking, reliable, and motivated Truck & Trailer Mechanic Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will assist our mechanics with truck and trailer repairs, maintenance, and general shop duties. Key Responsibilities * Assist mechanics with the inspection, maintenance, and repair of heavy-duty trucks and trailers. * Help with brake, suspension, tire, lighting, and other mechanical repairs. * Assist with oil changes, servicing, and preventive maintenance. * Help diagnose mechanical issues under the supervision of mechanics. * Organize tools, equipment, and parts required for repairs. * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop. * Follow workplace health and safety procedures. * Perform other shop-related duties as required. Qualifications & Requirements * No mechanic's licence required. * Previous experience in a truck or trailer repair shop is an asset. * Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools preferred. * Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced mechanics. * Strong work ethic and positive attitude. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
