Construction Estimator - Building Restoration

K.I.B. Building Restoration Inc. is a *Leader in building restoration across* *Southern Ontario since 1999. Now we are l*ooking for a Project Coordinator/Estimator to join the team! The purpose of the Project Coordinator/Estimator role will report to Project Manager and support the Project Manager to ensure communication on a project and complete the projects with outstanding quality, and safety on each and every jobsite. **Responsibilities:** * Assist in preparing project estimates, budgets, and construction schedules * Coordinate communication between clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers * Request and review quotes from suppliers and subcontractors * Help clarify project scope with subcontractors and field teams * Assist with tender preparation and cost estimates * Attend project meetings and assist with tracking deficiencies and project updates * Coordinate daily activities between clients, contractors, foremen, and consultants * Support project mobilization and construction site setup * Monitor efficient use of labor, equipment, and materials * Assist with training and coordinating project staff * Conduct periodic site inspections before and during construction * Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and building codes * Maintain project documentation, reports, and records * Other duties as required. **Qualifications** * Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field * 2+ years experience in construction project coordination * Ability to read construction drawings and specifications * Experience working with construction scopes, subcontractors, and restoration projects * Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously * Team-oriented with strong relationship-building skills * Valid G Class driver’s license * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs **What's in it for you** * Competitive salary * Comprehensive group benefits plan * Employer-sponsored Deferred Profit Sharing Plan * Company vehicle and phone * Opportunity to grow with a well-established restoration company * Supportive and collaborative team environment K.I.B.
