Roadside Assistance Technician

On-call to start Auto Aikido is a premium mobile roadside assistance company serving Calgary, Airdrie, and surrounding areas. We come to the customer — battery boosts, lockouts, tire changes, fuel delivery, winter battery checks, headlight restoration, and dashcam installs. No shop, no waiting rooms: just fast, honest help where people are stranded. The role: - Respond to roadside calls across Calgary and surrounding areas - Battery boosts and battery health checks, vehicle lockouts, tire changes, emergency fuel delivery - Light add-on work: headlight restoration, dashcam installs - Give upfront quotes, take payment on the spot, keep the customer updated with live GPS tracking while en route - No mechanic work, ever — this is roadside assistance only. No automotive licence or certification required. What you need: - Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's licence and a clean driving abstract - Own reliable vehicle to use for calls (no company vehicle provided) - Smartphone and comfortable using maps / messaging apps - Able to lift up to 25 kg (tires, batteries) and work outdoors in all weather - Calm, honest, good with stressed-out customers - On-call to start — available to take calls as they come in, including evenings and weekends (after-hours calls pay a premium) Nice to have: - Previous roadside, towing, delivery, or auto-parts experience - Basic 12V electrical knowledge (boosts, battery testing) What we offer: - $25-$30/hr to start, based on experience - Premium pay on after-hours calls - Own reliable vehicle required — all roadside gear provided - On-call to start, with flexible hours To apply: email your resume and a few lines about yourself to contact@autoaikido.com with the subject "Roadside Tech".
