Grader Operator - SNOW Removal

We’re a third-generation, family-run heavy construction company specializing in roadway construction, earthworks, and sand and gravel supply and delivery. Our committed winter snow clearing contracts keep our crews working when others shut down. We’re looking for skilled Grader Operators to keep the roads open this season. **Pay** * Grader Operator: **$40/hr** * Grader Operator with Wing: **$42/hr** **What You Bring** * Valid Class 5 driver’s licence * Reliable transportation to and from work * Minimum 2 years of commercial snow clearing experience, or 2 years operating heavy construction equipment * Ability to work 12-hour shifts, on call, days and nights, 7 days a week * A cell phone with a data plan for GPS clock-in and clock-out * A sharp, alert and professional approach on the job * Wing experience and mechanical aptitude are assets **What You’ll Do** * Operate graders, with or without wing, to clear snow on our winter contracts * Complete pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections and basic maintenance * Report mechanical issues promptly to keep equipment storm-ready * Fill out accurate timesheets every shift * Work safely and communicate clearly with supervisors and crew **Why CHABOT** * Top-tier wages, with a premium for wing operators * Committed winter work on established snow contracts * A path to full-time, permanent, year-round employment with full benefits for qualified operators * An established, respected employer with more than 55 years in Manitoba **Schedule:** Seasonal, on call.
