As a valued member of our housekeeping and maintenance team, you will provide clean and safe environment to residents as well as staff in accordancewith policies, procedures and work routines. **What you’ll be doing** * Collects/receives laundry and performs cleaning and drying as per established protocol. * Prepares laundry for distribution * Observes operation of machines and reports malfunctions to Supervisor * Assists in maintaining laundry facilities, equipment and supplies * Advises Supervisor of inventory levels of chemicals and linen shortages * Adheres to established department policies, procedures regarding quality assurance, fire safety, environment, and infection control. **What you bring** * Frequent standing, walking, squatting, reaching and lifting of heavy soiled linens but in controlled amounts or with assistance. * Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures. * Understanding of washer and dryer operations and some knowledge of chemicals used in process preferred. * Strong organization, planning, time management and multi-tasking skills **What you’ll get** * Continuous mentorship, support for life-long learning and growth opportunities * Opportunities for advancement and career growth within the organization * A rewarding and meaningful work experience where you ca enrich your life and the lives of others * Employee Family Assistance Program * Robust benefits package.
