**Advance Auto Service is seeking a reliable and motivated Automotive Apprentice to join our team.**
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Automotive Apprentice Technician to join our busy automotive repair shop.
The successful candidate will have minimum 2 years of hands on experience working in a professional automotive repair shop.
We are looking for someone who has practical experience performing vehicle maintenance and repairs, is comfortable working in a shop environment, and is eager to continue developing their skills.
**Qualifications:**
Ability to work independently on routine tasks and follow instruction.
Own basic automotive tools
Strong work ethic, reliability and willingness to learn.
Valid Class 5 Drivers License
Assisting technicians with vehicle repairs and maintenance
Performing oil changes and general vehicle maintenance
Installing tires and supporting seasonal tire services
Assisting/completing brake, steering, and suspension repairs
Completing basic inspections and preventative maintenance
Learning diagnostic and repair procedures under supervision
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
