Short-Form Video Editor (Reels & Event Recaps)

**About Oray Media** Oray Media is a Vancouver video production company creating short-form content for real estate, automotive, corporate and event clients. We’re growing our post-production team and looking for reliable editors for ongoing work. **The role** You’ll edit Instagram Reels and event recaps from footage we shoot. You get organized footage, a brief and references. Your job is to make every reel look premium and keep people watching from the first second to the last. **What you’ll do** * Cut polished reels (mostly 9:16, 30 to 90 seconds) with strong hooks, pacing and music sync * Colour grade, sound design and captions * Deliver first cuts within 3 to 4 business days * Handle up to 2 rounds of revisions per video * Keep files and project folders organized for handoff **Who you are** * You have a strong portfolio of short-form social content * You have taste and an eye for clean, cinematic edits * You’re reliable, communicate clearly and hit deadlines * Adobe Premiere Pro preferred * After Effects or motion graphics is a bonus **What you get** * Steady, ongoing work * Flexible hours, fully remote * Room to grow into a lead editor role **Details** * Freelance / contract, fully remote * Pay: $35 to $50 per hour * Start: as soon as possible **How to apply** Send your portfolio or reel links to jobs@oraymedia.com, or apply through Indeed.
