Locksmith

Fraser Lock & Safe is seeking an experienced Locksmith for road and in-shop work with at least 1 year of direct experience with the installation and troubleshooting of door hardware. Compensation: $25 - $35/hr depending on Locksmith experience, and deployable skillset. Performance Bonus Health Benefits Plan Existing Vacation Time Match CPP Contribution Match Base Responsibilities: * Repairing, installing, and maintaining a wide range of locks and security systems. * Cut and pin various keyways including Medeco in shop and on site. * Respond to booked service calls promptly and efficiently. * Install Door hardware including Panic bars, Door closers, ADOs etc. * Keep accurate records of service calls and customer information (Computer and cell phone use). * Stay up to date with the latest locksmith techniques and key systems. * Working hours 8:00 - 5:00 Mon-Friday + rotating emergency after-hours. Skills and Qualifications: * 1+ years locksmith work history. * Experience in cutting various key types including ASSA, Mul-T-Lock, Medeco. * Experience in using locksmithing tools, such as key cutters, misc power tools (drills, grinders), and lock picks. * Experience with safe opening, including drilling and autodialer an asset. * Excellent reliability, personal time management and attention to detail. * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure. * Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively. * A valid driver's license. and clean drivers abstract.
