As a valued member of our RN team, you will provide care to residents in accordance with the standards of practice and offer leadership and guidance to the nursing and personal care staff. This position is for our LakesideHome, located in Toronto, Ontario**.** **Position: Casual** (availability every other weekend) **What you’ll be doing** * Liaise with interdisciplinary team and care providers to develop, implement, review and evaluate resident complex care plans including education and support. * Provide leadership to nursing and personal care staff by planning, directing, supervising and evaluating their work. **What you bring** * Current registration as a Registered Nurse in applicable Province/State * Experience working with seniors and unregulated care providers * Education and experience in gerontology, rehabilitation, community/complex/long term care an asset * Must possess strong written and oral communication, critical thinking, care coordination, time management and customer focus skills * Must have demonstrated sound clinical knowledge and ability to delegate to unregulated care providers * Must maintain competencies as per the governing College standards * Skills in use of computer and Microsoft Office applications * Current (within 3 months) Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening (VPS) **What you’ll get** * Continuous mentorship, support for life-long learning and growth opportunities * Opportunities for advancement and career growth within the organization * A rewarding and meaningful work experience where you can enrich your life and the lives of others through your work. * Employee Family Assistance Program. * Robust benefits package.
