Automotive Service Technician

**Job Summary** We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities * Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and other issues. * Diagnose vehicle problems using diagnostic equipment and technical tools. * Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks. * Repair and replace engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, steering components, and other vehicle parts whenever required. * Maintain safety standards. * Perform preventative maintenance to minimize breakdowns and costly repairs. * Communicate repair requirements and recommendations with fleet manager or supervisor * Keep the workshop clean, organized, and compliant with workplace safety standards. * Follow manufacturer specifications and established repair procedures. Qualifications and Requirements * Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role. * Strong knowledge of automotive systems, components, and repair procedures. * Experience using automotive diagnostic tools and equipment. * Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues. * Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices. * Strong problem-solving and time-management skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record. * Automotive service technician certification or equivalent qualification is preferred.
