Your Tasks Technical challenges, innovative solutions and the further development of sophisticated sterilisation systems are at the heart of this versatile position. To strengthen our R&D team, we are looking for a committed individual with a passion for mechanical design and technical advancement.• Development, design and optimisation of mechanical components and assemblies of our sterilisation systems with a focus on piping • Responsibility for technical product maintenance (sustaining) and continuous development of existing solutions • Creation of 3D models, technical drawings and manufacturing documents for internal and external production • Calculation and dimensioning of mechanical components taking into account applicable standards and guidelines • Planning and execution of mechanical tests and measurements as well as evaluation of results • Maintenance of technical documentation, master data as well as spare and wear parts information in PDM and ERP systems • Technical support of the engineering team in design-related questions and the application of design standards Your Profile • Completed technical basic training, for example as a designer or polymechanic, supplemented by a degree (FH/BSc) in mechanical engineering, systems engineering, process engineering or a comparable field • At least three years of professional experience in mechanical design • Sound knowledge in mechanics as well as in the calculation and dimensioning of components • Confident handling of 3D CAD systems, ideally SolidWorks, as well as experience with PDM and ERP systems (preferably SAP) • Knowledge of relevant technical standards and guidelines; experience in piping design or the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage • Analytical, structured and precise working style as well as strong team skills • Good German and English skills, both spoken and written Our Offer With us, you can expect more than just a workplace – you will become part of a team that lives cohesion, development and joy at work.
