To complete our team in the R&D department, we are looking for a: R&D Engineer (M/F/X) 100%Your mission - Design and develop innovative microtechnical products, from the conceptual phase to final validation - Deliver a robust, validated, and industrialisable design, enabling production to manufacture the product reliably - Perform calculations, risk analyses, and design reviews - Collaborate closely with clients, production, and external partners - Define and document technical solutions according to MPS standards - Participate in the design of tooling and test or production means - Contribute to the continuous improvement of R&D methods and processes Your profile - Engineering degree from EPF or HES in mechanics, microtechnology, or equivalent field - Ideally 5 years of experience in microtechnical or mechatronic product development, from design to industrialisation - Proficiency in 3D CAD software (knowledge of SolidWorks is an asset) - Competent in creating and checking technical drawings according to ISO GPS standards, notably ISO 8015 (asset). - Knowledge in electronics, motors, or programming (asset) - Methodical and persistent in problem-solving - Able to clearly explain complex technical subjects to varied audiences, technical or non-technical - Able to guide technical choices and coordinate stakeholders from different trades, without hierarchical links. - Organises work autonomously and can prioritise between several projects - Flexible and willing to travel abroad when projects require it. Languages: Excellent command of French and English (minimum B2 level) Workplace: 2504 Biel/Bienne. Business trips abroad: about 10 to 20% of the time.
