Finance Business Partner (a)

80 - 100 % In this diverse role • you will manage the Regional Electronic Media area as a Finance Business Partner, including our radio stations, regional TV stations, and watson • you will ensure monthly closings, forecasts, budgets, and medium-term planning as well as decision-oriented management reporting of high quality • you will analyse business development and value drivers, explain deviations from plan and forecast, identify opportunities and risks early, and derive recommendations for action • you will support the management of media activities at the business unit and company level and prepare financial reports from contribution margin accounting to profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements • you will develop scenarios and sensitivities and accompany business plans, investments, as well as transformation and M&A topics financially, thoroughly, and with critical scrutiny • you will be the central contact person and critical sparring partner on an equal footing for the responsible member of the executive management in business management matters • you will simplify and automate reports, dashboards, and processes and use BI, advanced analytics, and AI purposefully You will succeed here if • you can demonstrate several years of experience in controlling and/or finance. Professional experience in the media sector is an advantage but not mandatory • you have solid knowledge in cost accounting, contribution margin accounting, planning and forecasting, as well as in the analysis of individual companies (profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, cash flow statements) • you possess excellent analytical skills and a strong business understanding, quickly grasp complex relationships, and draw reliable conclusions • you want to actively shape the digital transformation, are confident with Excel, ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA), and BI tools, enjoy working with AI support, and have an understanding of data models and automation • you work proactively, solution-oriented, and with a high quality standard and continuously develop processes • you communicate appropriately for the target audience, act confidently as a sparring partner, and can communicate perfectly in German • you hold a degree in business administration or an equivalent further education with a focus on finance/controlling and are willing to work not only at your primary workplace in Aarau but also in Zurich Why is there an (a) in our job title?
