Manager, Firmware Validation

Zoox is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a verification and validation team with a focus on power and body systems on the robot in a variety of driving scenarios. In this role, you will lead a team of engineers that leverages test assets and methods, including data analysis, triaging, to iterate on the validation plans. You will work closely with driving software, software tools, System engineers, test and proving ground operators. Ideal candidates bring technical as well as leadership experience to the role, providing mentorship, scoping projects, prioritizing tasks, setting priorities and delivering a stable and functional feature. Manage and grow team of verification and validation engineers Develop, own and execute end to end validation strategy and planning Establish effective collaborations with cross-functional teams like firmware, vehicle engineering, safety and software teams Lead the planning and execution of the features across multiple test assets Maintain traceability between requirements and test suites Provide clear and data driven feedback to development teams B.S or higher in Automotive, Aerospace, Robotics, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science or Systems Engineering. 8+ years with 2+ years of leading direct reports Experience developing integration plans for complex embedded/robotics projects Familiarit
