Zoox's Advanced Hardware Engineering team is responsible for the design, development, and innovation of sensor technology, networking, and the main compute platform for our vehicles. In this role, you will work within a multi-disciplinary engineering team to architect our next-generation compute platforms, both on-vehicle and in-cloud. You will leverage your industry experience and analytical mindset to ensure Zoox remains at the leading edge of autonomous driving through careful balancing of hardware ranging from off-the-shelf to full-custom silicon. This is a hands-on role that will directly interface with top executives and practitioners alike, and will shape the future of Zoox to ensure our competitive success. Provide engineering leadership for high-performance Compute modules Architect next-generation compute systems and define the technical roadmap at the system and silicon level Work extensively with cross-functional teams (software, mechanical, vehicle-integration, data-flow architects) to ensure product success.
