Sales and Marketing Manager, Tea Sense (Siliguri, West Bengal) About Tea Sense Tea Sense is a premium Indian tea brand with a growing distributor and dealer network across India. We are building the brand on quality, fair dealing with the trade and a sales team that works with discipline. We now need a manager who can lead that team on the ground. About the role You will own sales and marketing for Tea Sense. You will lead the sales team, set and track targets, run the day-to-day sales operation, and make sure our schemes and marketing activities reach the market properly. This is a hands-on, work from office role in Siliguri, and you will report directly to the founders. What you will do Lead, guide, and monitor the sales team, including daily work planning, follow-ups and performance reviews Set monthly and quarterly targets for each salesperson and region, and track achievement against them Manage distributor and dealer relationships, orders, collections and market coverage Roll out trade schemes, incentives and offers, and make sure the field team and the trade understand them Plan and execute marketing activities such as in-store visibility, promotions, sampling and trade communication Work with the founders on pricing, product positioning and new market expansion Review daily and weekly sales reports, find gaps and fix them quickly Coach, motivate and, where needed, hold the team accountable Who we are looking for 5 to 7 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in tea, FMCG, food or beverages At least 2 to 3 years of experience managing a field sales team Good understanding of the distributor, wholesaler and retailer model in India Comfortable with targets, sales numbers, MIS reports and Excel Strong communication skills in English and Hindi A decisive, organised leader who follows up and gets things done Willing to work from our office in Siliguri and travel to the market when needed Good to have Experience with CRM or sales tracking tools Experience running trade schemes and dealer loyalty programmes Knowledge of the tea trade What we offer A senior role with real ownership and direct access to the founders Performance-linked incentives The chance to help build a premium Indian tea brand from the ground up How to apply Send your resume to connect@theteasense.com or message us here on LinkedIn with the subject line “Sales and Marketing Manager – Tea Sense”.
