Associate Principal Consultant - SAP S4HANA EWM

Job Description Bristlecone India Limited is seeking an experienced Associate Manager – SAP S/4HANA EWM to join our S4 HANA Functional – Delivery team. Based in Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai or Noida, you will drive full‑cycle EWM projects on S/4HANA, collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, and optimize warehouse operations for our clients. Responsibilities Lead SAP EWM implementation phases (Blueprint, Realization, Testing, Cutover, Go‑Live) on S/4HANA. Configure inbound/outbound processing, putaway, picking, storage types, and warehouse structures. Design and manage warehouse orders, waves, and yard management scenarios. Integrate EWM with SAP MM, SD, PP, and TM modules, including Embedded and Decentralized EWM. Set up and maintain EWM master data such as products, packaging specs, handling units, work centers, and resources. Handle IDocs, RF framework, labor management, and MFS where applicable. Prepare functional specifications and coordinate enhancements with ABAP developers. Support unit, integration, and UAT testing; resolve defects and ensure quality delivery. Provide post‑go‑live support, stabilization, and continuous improvement of warehouse processes. Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge‑sharing within the delivery team. Qualifications 8+ years of hands‑on SAP EWM experience with a focus on S/4HANA. Minimum of 2 full lifecycle SAP EWM implementations on S/4HANA. Strong functional and configuration expertise in inbound/outbound logistics and warehouse layout optimization. Proven experience with Embedded EWM (mandatory) and knowledge of Decentralized EWM. Deep understanding of handling units, RF transactions, and labor management. Ability to design and optimize warehouse processes for efficiency and performance. Experience integrating EWM with MM, SD, PP, and TM modules. Hands‑on exposure to IDocs, MFS, and related middleware technologies. Excellent communication skills to work with business and technical teams. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field; SAP EWM certification is a plus.
