Quality Engineer

Job Summary: A key quality controller who leads the final determination of nonconforming materials and products (discard, rework, special procurement, etc.) and establishes preventive measures through root cause analysis. Communicate with other managers and employees across the organization to drive and manage the reduction of nonconforming occurrences and rapid resolution of issues across the entire organization. Key Responsibilities: Nonconforming Product Determination and Operation: Lead the MRB Board (involving Production, Materials, Engineering, and Accounting) and decision-making. Establishment of Preventive Measures (CAPA): Analyze the root causes of nonconforming (e.g., RCCA) and recommend process/material improvements. Loss Cost Management: Analyze monthly nonconforming status and monitor and analyze waste cost reductions. Driver for Supplier Defect Reduction: Conduct audits and request quality improvements from the SE team regarding suppliers with recurring defects. Role Requirements: Education : Graduate of two-years or four years university Military Service : Must have completed or been exempted from military service and be eligible for overseas travel At least 2 years of manufacturing site quality control (QC/QA) experience Competent in drawing interpretation and precision meter MS Office (Excel, PPT) Proficient English : Must be able to converse in business English and conduct meetings Preferential treatment: Experience in quality control of semiconductor/ equipment parts Experienced in the Problem Solving Process (RCCA) and capable of performing quality improvement tasks. Experience in Supplier Quality and the ability to communicate effectively with suppliers. Operational knowledge regarding data analysis. Experience in handling quality defects. Ability to lead relevant departments in implementing company-wide improvement activities based on customer and internal requirements. Experience in KPI management Ability to reply to emails in English and communicate at a basic level or higher Problem Solving: Ability to receive customer complaints and nonconformities (NCs), organize a team to resolve issues, and implement improvements. Experience in writing 8D reports and following up on DMRs/NCs. Ability to collect defective KPI data and write reports.
