Senior Network Engineer

Location: Manila, Philippines | Work Setup: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to oversee the daily management, optimization, and stability of our core Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) infrastructure. In this role, you will lead complex network troubleshooting, drive network automation, and integrate enterprise monitoring systems across global facilities. Your expertise will play a key part in maintaining high availability, enhancing operational efficiency, and connecting critical multi-cloud and office environments. Key Responsibilities Oversee, optimize, and troubleshoot Cisco LAN operations across central facilities and field offices, leading enhancement projects to ensure high performance and availability. Manage enterprise-wide Versa SDWAN connectivity, hardware stability, and WAN routing between main hubs, cloud environments, and remote sites. Act as the primary technical point of contact for Internet Service Providers (ISPs), monitoring performance, handling escalations, and maintaining IP address inventories for cybersecurity scanning. Automate routine network management tasks using Python scripts and Ansible Tower while implementing continuous network health monitoring using Datadog dashboards. Qualifications Minimum of 10 years of dedicated hands-on work experience in computer networking. Deep technical knowledge of network architectures, OSI/TCP-IP models, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), STP, VLANs, and inter-VLAN routing. Proven hands-on experience configuring and maintaining Cisco LAN switches and Versa SDWAN devices. Practical proficiency in network automation using Python scripting and Ansible Tower, alongside hands-on experience with network monitoring platforms (preferably Datadog). Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or a related field (equivalent relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree).
