Description du poste
At Peppy, we’re building an open-source robotics framework that serves as a rapid prototyping platform for semi-technical users. We’re looking for a Senior Robotics Simulation Engineer to lead the integration of MuJoCo and NVIDIA Isaac Sim into the framework. What We’re Looking For Several years of experience in robotics simulation and systems integration Hands-on experience with Isaac Sim, Isaac Lab, or MuJoCo (required) Experience with any of the following is a strong plus: Rust, Python, robotics middleware, USD/URDF, simulation infrastructure, and headless simulation Familiarity with Vision-Language Models (VLMs), Vision-Language-Action models (VLAs), or World Action Models (WAMs) is a bonus Comfort using LLMs as a core part of your workflow to move faster and get more done We value hands-on industry experience, the systems you’ve built, and the problems you’ve solved over academic credentials. You can read about our company values here: https://sites.plane.so/pages/0dd361b57cdb4980a94a7749c8ab414e. If you have the right skills and share these values, we’d love to talk. What You’ll Work On You’ll own the simulation side of our stack, including: Integrating the WebAssembly (Wasm) build of MuJoCo into our framework Integrating simulated robots, sensors, and environments Exposing simulation capabilities through our APIs and tooling Making our simulations reflect real-world behavior as closely as possible Ensuring simulations run reliably in both interactive and headless modes Streamlining the workflow for adding and testing new robots Keeping simulated and real robot behavior consistent Shaping the architecture and technical roadmap of our simulation stack You’ll be our go-to person for everything simulation-related, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable making technical decisions, not just executing predefined tasks. What Success Looks Like Within your first six months, you will have: Shipped support for multiple robots, sensors, and environments Built a robust headless simulation workflow that runs both locally and in the cloud Made adding and testing new robots significantly easier through improved tooling Taken ownership of the simulation stack and shaped its roadmap with concrete improvements that ship to users How We Work Location: This role is open only to candidates based in Taipei. We can’t consider applicants from other locations. Schedule: This is a full-time position at 40h/week. You’ll need to join one call a week outside regular Taipei hours, either late evening or early morning. Remote setup: The role is remote for now.
