Assistant Director, Operations (Eye Services, Specialist Outpatient Clinics, Healthcare Operations Management) #HDC1

A public healthcare institution is looking for an Assistant Director to lead operations for its eye services. You will oversee clinic and service delivery, manage resources and drive quality and efficiency. What You'll Be Doing • Lead day-to-day operations for eye services across clinics and procedures • Develop and execute operational plans aligned with institutional goals • Manage manpower, resources, budgets and capacity planning • Drive patient access, waiting time and service quality improvements • Work with clinicians, nurses and allied health to align service delivery • Oversee operational performance metrics and report to senior leadership • Lead process improvement and transformation projects • Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality and safety requirements • Manage and develop a team of operations managers and executives • Represent operations in cross-departmental committees and planning What You'll Bring • Degree in Healthcare Management, Business, Engineering or a related discipline and above • 8 to 12 years of operations management experience in a large healthcare organisation • Strong people leadership and stakeholder management skills • Strong understanding of clinical operations and patient flow • Proven record of improving service performance • Strong financial and resource management skills • Strategic, analytical and solutions-oriented • Proficient in Microsoft Office What's In It For You • Office hours, Monday to Friday • Senior leadership exposure in healthcare • Public healthcare environment Interested?
