Senior Logistics Operations Executive (Transport & Distribution) / West

Our client is a Healthcare Supply Chain Solutions industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Senior Logistics Operations Executive to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in West. Job Responsibilities: • Oversee daily logistics and distribution activities to ensure smooth operations, timely fulfilment and effective resource utilisation. • Coordinate delivery schedules, route planning and transportation arrangements to improve delivery efficiency and control operating costs. • Manage relationships with external transport providers, review service performance and negotiate commercial terms to meet operational requirements. • Supervise warehouse activities, including storage planning, space allocation, stock movement and proper handling of goods. • Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular stocktakes, investigating discrepancies and ensuring proper documentation of inventory movements. • Coordinate the movement of goods, supplies and equipment between locations, including urgent and ad-hoc delivery requests. • Ensure safe handling, loading and unloading procedures are followed, while overseeing the maintenance and servicing of material handling equipment. • Monitor compliance with relevant operational, workplace safety and environmental requirements, and implement appropriate control measures. • Manage logistics expenditure, review budget performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity and achieve cost savings. • Lead and supervise the logistics team, set performance expectations and provide guidance to support team development and operational effectiveness. • Track operational performance through key indicators, prepare management reports and implement improvement initiatives to address service gaps and operational issues. • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned. Requirements: • Minimum Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline. • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in transportation, distribution, logistics or warehouse operations. • Experience coordinating transportation and distribution activities, preferably involving multiple delivery schedules and operational requirements. • Familiarity with logistics service provider management, contract negotiation and vendor coordination. • Good understanding of transportation planning, delivery coordination and warehouse management processes. • Familiarity with logistics management software, inventory systems or relevant operational platforms. • Interested candidates who wish to apply for the advertised position, please click APPLY NOW or email an updated copy of your resume/cv.
