Temporary Dental Assistant (3-Month Contract, Renewable) #HYN

An opportunity to join a dental healthcare team as a Temporary Dental Assistant! This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on clinical work and are keen to gain experience in a dental healthcare environment. You will work closely with dentists to support various dental procedures and ensure smooth clinical operations. Job Responsibilities • Provide chairside assistance to dentists during dental procedures. • Assist in operative dentistry, surgical, endodontic and prosthodontic procedures. • Support dentists in performing dental radiography. • Prepare, handle and maintain dental instruments and equipment in accordance with safety protocols. • Ensure proper handling and cleanliness of dental instruments. • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of dental consultation rooms. • Monitor the cleanliness of dental refrigerators and temperature conditions of dental materials. • Comply with infection control procedures and workplace safety regulations. • Assist in designated emergency response duties. • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Requirements • No prior dental assisting experience required; relevant healthcare or clinical experience will be advantageous. • Comfortable with hands-on clinical duties and working closely with dentists. • Able to follow infection control, hygiene and workplace safety protocols. • Available for a 3-month contract, with potential for renewal.
