Senior Presales Solutions Engineer

The client is a leading Network and Application Observability solutions provider helping enterprises gain deep visibility across complex hybrid IT environments, datacenters, cloud platforms, and mission-critical applications. They are looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to own complex technical engagements across ASEAN — from discovery and architecture through Proof of Value (PoV), tender solutioning, technical validation and closure. This is a hands-on presales leadership role for candidates with combined deep technical judgement, active communication, commercial sense and end-to-end ownership. Responsibilities: Customer & Technical Engagement • Lead high-level technical discovery, architecture discussions and workshops with enterprise customers and partners. • Communicate closely with customers to understand business goals, operational pain points, architecture constraints and success criteria. • Translate customer requirements into clear solution designs and communicate regional requirements, design rationale and risks effectively to HQ. • Present complex technical concepts confidently to senior stakeholders across Network, Infrastructure, Architecture, IT Operations and Observability. Presales, PoV & TenderSolutioning • Own the technical lifecycle from discovery, solution architecture, positioning, PoV, validation, technical closure. • Design and lead PoC/PoV engagements, including scope, architecture, test plan, success criteria, stakeholder alignment and technical acceptance. • Lead technical solutioning for tenders/RFPs/RFIs, including architecture, sizing, technical proposals, compliance responses and solution positioning. • Handle technical objections and competitive discussions; guide customers toward the solution approach that best addresses their operational and business outcomes. • Localise and polish technical documents, proposals and solution materials so they are credible and relevant to the local market and customer context. • Lead technical workshops with partners, coach local technical teams and share reusable architectures, PoV approaches and best practices. End-to-End Delivery Design &Success • Remain involved beyond presales where needed to ensure continuity from proposed architecture into delivery. • Produce or govern high-level design (HLD) and low-level design (LLD) deliverables and ensure commitments made during presales are executable. • Maintain end-to-end visibility of PoV and delivery progress, proactively identifying risks, dependencies and gaps and driving them to closure. Ensure the delivered technical outcome matches what was committed to the customer and supports successful adoption. Requirements: • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience preferred, with strong exposure to presales, solution engineering, solution architecture or enterprise technical consulting. • Strong communication skills: able to build tight working relationships with customers while clearly communicating solution design, requirements and technical decisions to HQ. • Demonstrated experience independently leading customer workshops, technical discovery, PoC/PoV, tender/RFP solutioning and technical closure. • Strong technical foundation across several of the following: enterprise networking and network architecture; NPM/NPMD; APM; Observability/AIOps; infrastructure monitoring; packet-based analysis; data-centre environments; hybrid/cloud infrastructure. • Experience in banking, financial services, telecommunications, government or large-enterprise environments is advantageous. • Experience with enterprise monitoring / observability platforms and competitive solution environments is advantageous. • Able to develop and govern solution architecture, HLD/LLD, sizing, technical proposals and implementation approaches. • Commercial awareness: can explain how past solution choices balanced customer outcomes, technical feasibility, delivery risk and commercial viability. • Comfortable operating independently across multiple strategic opportunities while collaborating effectively with sales, delivery, partners and HQ.
