Community Care Associate (Senior Day Care Centre, Personal Care, Activity Engagement, Weekday Hours) #HDC1

A senior care organisation is looking for Community Care Associates to support seniors at its day care centres. You will provide dignified daily care and engage seniors in meaningful activities. What You'll Be Doing • Assist seniors with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, mobility, toileting and feeding • Escort and assist seniors during transport to and from the centre, ensuring safety and comfort • Facilitate and join games, social and recreational activities • Encourage participation and monitor seniors' wellbeing and mood • Observe and report changes in condition to nurses and supervisors • Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable centre environment • Keep accurate care records and activity logs • Work with the care team, therapists and families to support each senior • Follow infection control and safety procedures • Support centre events and other duties as assigned What You'll Bring • Relevant care, healthcare or social service training is an advantage • Prior experience in eldercare, nursing aide or caregiving roles is helpful • Compassionate, patient and respectful toward seniors • Able to thrive in a collaborative, dynamic environment • Strong teamwork and dependable work habits • Willing to learn and complete relevant care training • Able to follow care plans and procedures • Committed to the dignity and wellbeing of seniors What's In It For You • Monday to Friday, no weekends or public holidays • Paid career trial and structured training • Meaningful work in senior care Interested?
