Pharmacist (Locum / Permanent, Hospital & Polyclinic) #HCG

Several public healthcare institutions are hiring Pharmacists across acute hospital, community hospital and polyclinic settings. Both locum (flexible schedules of 3 to 5.5 days a week) and permanent positions are available, so you can choose the arrangement that suits you best. What You'll Be Doing • Review prescriptions and medication charts for appropriateness, dosing, interactions and potential adverse reactions • Clarify and resolve prescription issues with prescribers and recommend suitable therapy • Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications to patients • Counsel patients and caregivers on drug therapy, side effects, storage and administration • Provide outpatient pharmacy services such as medication review and anticoagulation services • Provide drug information to healthcare professionals and respond to public enquiries • Supervise and check the work of pharmacy technicians in the preparation and labelling of medications • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for medicines and controlled drugs • Maintain accurate records of drug receipt, supply, storage and distribution • Participate in quality improvement and medication safety initiatives What You'll Bring • Degree in Pharmacy and above • Registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Council • At least 1 year of pharmacist experience; acute hospital, community hospital or polyclinic experience is preferred • Sound clinical knowledge and strong attention to detail • Experienced in medication counselling and collaborating with doctors and nurses • Able to work shift duties for hospital roles, or flexible schedules for locum roles • Patient-centred team player • Able to cover different clinic locations when required (locum roles) What's In It For You • Choice of locum or permanent employment • Flexible schedules for locum roles (3 to 5.5 days a week) • Attractive hourly rates for locum roles • Comprehensive benefits for permanent roles • Accessible locations near MRT Interested?
