AML Analyst (Customer Risk Assessment, Sanctions Screening, Transaction Monitoring, Consumer Banking) #HDC1

A leading local bank is looking for an AML Analyst to join its consumer banking risk management team. You will assess customer and transaction risks and help strengthen the bank's financial crime controls. What You'll Be Doing • Analyse new and existing customer profiles and transactions for money laundering, terrorism financing and sanctions risks • Process escalated name screening alerts and transaction monitoring alerts accurately and on time • Prepare risk assessments highlighting key risk areas for management attention • Recommend effective risk mitigating strategies for senior management consideration • Implement approved risk mitigation measures with thorough and consistent execution • Handle priority requests from compliance and business teams • Partner with the AML and sanctions advisory teams on case reviews and guidance • Maintain clear documentation and audit trails for all decisions • Track emerging typologies, regulatory changes and industry practices • Contribute to process improvements and operational risk initiatives What You'll Bring • Degree in Business, Finance, Accountancy, Law or a related discipline and above • 2 to 4 years of experience in AML, compliance, KYC or financial crime operations • Working knowledge of AML/CFT and sanctions regulations • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills • Sound judgement and ability to work with sensitive information • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office • Strong stakeholder engagement skills • Able to perform in a fast-paced, demanding environment What's In It For You • Office hours, Monday to Friday • Exposure to proactive AML risk management • Accessible central location near MRT Interested?
