Working Location: Dhoby Ghaut Full time staff Job Responsibilities: • Prepare accurate, competitive, and commercially viable tender submissions. • Prepare and issue tender enquiries to subcontractors and suppliers in a timely manner. • Identify and engage suitable subcontractors and suppliers based on project scope, capability, capacity, and location. • Review and input Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and prepare tender pricing documents. • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to clarify technical requirements and obtain competitive quotations. • Verify quantities, conduct measurement checks, and identify any omissions or discrepancies in the BOQ. • Ensure all project scopes are captured during tender preparation. • Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure tender submissions meet RFP and client requirements. • Review tender documents and recommend value engineering or cost-saving alternatives where suitable. • Manage tender addenda and ensure subcontractors price based on the latest tender information. • Prepare and submit tender queries or RFIs to consultants and clients where clarification is required. • Compile preliminary cost estimates, including project preliminaries and staffing requirements, in consultation with the Project Manager. • Evaluate and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations. • Prepare commercial analysis and recommendation reports. • Complete estimating documentation and ensure compliance with company estimating procedures. • Prepare tender assumptions, qualifications, exclusions, and pricing clarifications for final submission. • Support post-tender negotiations, clarifications, and handover to the project delivery team upon successful award.
