Hi everyone! I’m developing a bilingual Arabic–English party trivia game, and I’m looking for someone to help write, research, edit, and organize its questions.
The game is aimed at a Gulf audience, so strong familiarity with GCC culture, entertainment, and everyday references is especially valuable.
What the work involves:
• Writing engaging, original trivia questions in Arabic and English, with clear and natural wording in each language.
• Reviewing and improving existing questions, removing duplicates, and fixing unclear wording or ambiguous answers.
• Researching and verifying answers, including a reliable source link for each question.
• Organizing questions by category and difficulty in Google Sheets/Excel, following a provided template.
• Suggesting suitable image, audio, or video references for media-based questions where relevant.
Who I’m looking for:
Someone with excellent written Arabic and English, strong research skills, and good attention to detail. You should be comfortable working with spreadsheets and have a good understanding of Gulf culture, TV, music, history, geography, and popular references. Knowledge of international topics such as movies, gaming, anime, and sports is also welcome.
Previous trivia-writing experience is a plus, but I’m also interested in people with relevant writing, editing, research, or content-organization experience.
Work arrangement: Remote freelance work. I’d like to start with a small paid batch, with potential for ongoing work if we’re a good fit.
Budget: US$50–75 per batch of 100 completed questions, depending on category complexity. We’ll agree on the ongoing batch rate after a small paid trial.
